Nokia Plans to Launch Four Symbian Smartphones in Future

Thai news site, Flashfly reveals about the Nokia’s development of four Symbian smartphones. The site was able to collect information only about one of the four phones called Zeta or Nokia 700.

The Nokia 700 constitutes 3.2 inch display with 640x360 pixels, a camera of 5 megapixels, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, memory card holder with a capacity to hold 32GB and NFC abilities. The size of the device is said to be 110 mm (l) x 51 mm (w) x 10 (d) mm with 1GHz processor.

As per FlashFly, the images of the handset revealed that the phone appealed in white color but the company must have planned to develop the phone in other color also. Nokia was the biggest mobile manufacturers but it was not popular in the smartphone segment. However, the company was planning to use Microsoft Corp.'s Windows Phone software as the operating system for its smartphones in place of its own Symbian software, which is expected to affect the sales of the smartphone.

The declaration of this deal has not improved the status of Nokia at the stock exchange; instead the stocks fell by 40% and are 84% down, since the deal to change the operating system was undertaken.
