hard formatting a nokia "candy bar type" mobile

Steps to be followed to hard format a mobile phone:

(it can be done only for the NOKIA SYMBIAN S60 mobile phones without qwerty)

1.back-up all the contents of the phone into a memory card or to a PC

2.Switch off your mobile phone

3.place the mobile phone in a surface so that you can easily access the following keys
(power key,green call key,* key,num 3)
4.now hold the green call key,* key,num 3 simultaneously and then press the power key.

5.the phone will now starts to format

it will take some time so don't panic and don't try to switch off or remove battery

Make sure that your phone fully charged if not then connect a charger
